This is what the mat's gonna look like when it's installed. It's gonna be a three quarter inch thick foam pad, it's gonna have a carpet on top of it. It is designed to hold up against mold and mildew, it's not going to retain water, it's not gonna hold on to water, it's actually gonna repel it. more

Now this is gonna be an excellent way of reducing any kind of damage to our truck bed, or just makin it nice and easy for us to get up on here without scraping our hands and knees on those hard covers. You can see this is also gonna work on those spray in covers in our bare bed truck bed. So it's gonna be an excellent way of givin this a new cover or just protecting those covers we already have in. Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Westin Truck Bed Mat here on our 2020 Ford F-150. So there's going to be a couple of different types of bed mats and bed liners. The two most popular are carpet and rubber, which is what we see here. Now the best one for you is really going to vary depending on how you want to use your truck. If you don't use your truck as an actual truck much, you maybe just want to keep some more fragile items in the bed, that you want to keep them safe, and that's when you'd be looking at a carpeted bed liner. But if you're really going to be using your truck, maybe for a job, it's a work truck, or you just find yourself constantly hauling yard items or tons of heavy stuff that you're just throwing in the bed here, you definitely want the more durable rubber bed mat. more

BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
What's going on, everybody, Adam here with etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the bed rug, custom fit truck bed mat on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.This bed rug is going to give you a nice flat surface and what really helps that is the foam and how they have it shaped.So it is going to sit real nicely into the ridges in the bed of the truck. So between that and the custom fit, it's really not going to move a whole lot.There is a lot of hook and loop fasteners that we get with the kit. So once you find exactly where you want it, we can go ahead and put those hook and loops down and it'll stay at nice and in place.If you have a spray in liner, they're extremely gritty, really hard on the knees, this super, super, not gritty, very comfortable, it's just like carpet, but it is going to give you a lot of the resistance that some rubber would.Just because we do have the foam and then the carpet it's going to resist all those spills and stuff. It's not going to stain or fade over time.So that's always nice. Even if you're using this to haul mulch around, really dig a flat blade shovel, and you can actually go ahead and just kind of toss everything out.It's not really going to get hooked up on the carpet. So don't be weary to buy this, if you really do use your truck for a lot of other kinds of gardening and stuff like that really don't have to worry about it.But one thing I would really add if you're going with this bed mat, might as well just get one for the tailgate.There is one on our website, or there's going to be a two piece or one piece instead of a two piece, so it'll just be one massive piece.It will kind of fill in that gap. more

That's the one that we're going to put in first, and it is going to be the section that has the smallest amount of material on the one side of the wheel well space there. So I'm going to do this by myself. You guys have an extra set of hands that might work a little bit better, but it is definitely possible by yourself. Back it up, pull it up, get it working into place. We aren't really seeing the best fit just because we do have a drop-in liner as you guys see, but it still is going to get what we want. more

Hi there, Ram owners. Today in your 2016 Ram, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Westin's Custom Fit Bed Mat. We're showing it off on a 6-1.2' bed today but they're also available in a 5-1.2' and an 8' version.When you get your mat, it is going to come rolled up. Unfortunately, it does come rolled up kind of inside out so we can't just unroll it in the bed, but that's okay. We're going to go ahead and just cut this off right here, being careful not to cut our mat. It's a pretty rugged mat though so you likely won't cut through it with a razor knife, but just be careful anyway.So we went ahead and opened it up here and it rolled out. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the DeeZee truck bed mat on our 2020 Dodge Ram 1500. You guys may be wondering and asking yourself, you're like, Adam, why do I need a mat in the bed of my truck Well, this is a 2020 with about 10,000 miles on it, and you guys can probably already see from there, we have so many scratches on this thing. The first thing that I noticed when I pulled this thing into the shop here, was that this thing has definitely been used and abused, you get to see all these scratches, it is an extreme amount, something that I wouldn't want in my truck, even if it's a 1962, I wouldn't want my truck to have all these scratches on it.This bed mat is going to serve a really good purpose. One, if you guys are installing anything on the inside of your truck, like today I put on this tonneau cover, and I literally just put the truck bed mat in before I started installing, because it was really tough on my knees, so it's going to save your knees, and also it's just going to save your truck from this disaster you see here.This is going to be a customized size and shape for your guys specific truck. We have a 2020 Ram 1500 here, and you guys are going to see how easily it goes in and how nicely it fits. more

Now, this mat has been designed for your six and a half foot bed on your Silverado, and it's going to just cover the entire bed of your truck and help protect it from any type of dents or scratches and stuff like that.Obviously, this particular Silverado has a spray-in bed liner, but if yours doesn't, this is especially useful because it's really going to help protect it from scratches. You can kind of see on the end of the tailgate right here, this part's not covered with the liner, and you can see it's already got a ton of scratches and stuff on it. So with this bed mat, that could have easily prevented it. And obviously, with the spray-in bed liner, it'll still help with dents and other stuff like that.What's pretty cool is that this is custom fit, like I said. more

So, our BedRug bed mat here is going to be a custom fit for our F-250. And basically what this means is all the corners we see cut, they're going to be contoured to the shape of our truck bed. Now this is going to allow a perfect fit. However, as you can see here, it is a little bumpy in certain areas, that's pretty common when we first take it out of the box. more

Now this mat is custom fit for the truck bed of your Toyota Tundra. Now you can see how it lines the contours of our truck bed very nicely at the corners, at the wheel wells, just to make sure it's covered as much of the bed as possible. And this is going to be a really nice solution to protecting your truck bed from any type of dents or dings or scratches or anything like that, but not only your truck bed, maybe even some items you throw in there. This truck bed mat is going to do a great job of protecting it is so if you have luggage or something like that, you're tossing in the inside, you definitely don't want this spray-in bed liner scratching up your luggage, especially if you're traveling a lot.This is going to be a 3/8 of an inch thick, narrow cord construction. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the bedrug custom bed mat for our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500,Now, our truck bed mat here is going to be a custom fit for our Chevy Silverado. If we take a look around the outside parameter, we'll see it has a nice and tight fit to the edges of the bed wall. Now what I found particularly useful about this truck bed is the three quarter inch foam padding, which is really going to save our knees when we're climbing in and out of the truck bed. It's also going to help protect some more of our valuable cargo, if we have any glass that we need to haul, or any pet cages or things of that nature.So if we take a look on the underside of the bed mat here we say we have these sort of indentations that align with the channels in our truck bed. more

Now, whether you use your truck for work or you drive it every day just as a commuter car, if we end up putting anything in the bed of our truck, it can scratch it, especially if we don't have a liner in there.But a lot of us have these bed mats like we have here, but that helps the bed, but it doesn't protect anything on our tailgate. So we can get a lot of different scratches or even possibly dings on there, not to mention our cargo can be sliding around back and forth. Our Deezee mat is going to protect the tailgate and keep our cargo from moving around too much. It's just going to extend that coverage from the bed mat onto your tailgate.Not to mention, our tailgate mat is going to make life a lot easier on our knees. So, my favorite thing about this truck bed mat is it's made out of 100% recycled rubber. On top of that, it's a very, very good snug fit. They do have it molded for this Tacoma, making it a custom fit and it is 5/16 inches thick with nice grippers on the bottom to help with traction. more

Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat Review - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Weston truck bed mat on our 2018 Ram 3500.Our truck bed mat is going to protect our bed and the cargo that we load in it. Once we have everything in place, it's going to create a nice, secure place that we're not going to have to worry about our cargo shifting, because it's going to be a non-slip surface.The mat is going to be custom fit, so it's going to contour around all the lines including the wheel well here all the way through the bed. And to be honest, if you're ever in the bed of your truck, you need to grab something or load something in, this is a lot nicer to kneel on than the bare metal or even one of those plastic bed liners. It's definitely going to feel a lot better and save your knees. And it's going to do that because are mat is going to be a 5/16-inch rubber construction, so it's going to be nice and thick, and on the bottom, it's going to have these rubber nibs that're going to make sure that the mat doesn't slide around.And once the mat's in place, we're not going to have to worry about what we put back here, because the mat is going to be chemical resistant, so if we have gasoline, oil, anything like that, it's not going to damage the mat. DeeZee Heavyweight Truck Bed Mat Review - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Rob: Rob here with etrailer.com, and today you're gonna be taking a look at the DeeZee truck bed mat on our 2018 Ram 3500. Our DeeZee mat is gonna protect our truck bed and the cargo that we put in it. And it's gonna do that because it's a 3/8 thick Nyracord rubber mat, so it's gonna take a lot of the force whenever we put something in the bed or if it tends to start moving around. And once we do have our truck loaded up, the mat's gonna make sure that all of our gears stays in place. That rubber's gonna act like a grip, so it's not gonna slide around too easily. The mat is gonna be custom fit to our Ram, so it's gonna follow all the contours right around the wheel well, all the way up to the front of the cab.And to be honest with you, I could tell you this is a lot more comfortable than kneeling down in the truck bed with nothing there. more

When you roll it out the first time, whether you're going to put it straight in your truck bed or if you just want to roll it out on the concrete to take a look at it, it's going, it might be a little bit warped because it was rolled up like this for a longer period of time.The only way to get rid of that is just let it sit in the sun for a little bit of time. The sun will heat up the rubber and then it will flatten to whatever surface that it's on.It's going to be very easy to put in place. You just want to make sure you figure out where the back is. more

Now when you first get your mat in the mail or if it's shipped to you it's gonna be rolled up like this, be packaged up and saran wrapped up and in a baggie. What I want to let you know is that when you first roll it out whether you want to put it in your truck right away or if you want to roll that out on the concrete, take a quick look at it, it's going to be a little bit warped just from being rolled up for so long. Once you let it sit in the sun, the sun is gonna heat up the rubber and that's gonna make it form to whatever surface it's on.So let's go ahead and put it in place. You see that the back is right here, you can tell because of this little backwards L right there that's gonna fit in the back corner of the truck bed. So we're just gonna put it out like this and actually it's easiest if you're just up here already then you can just pull it out like this. more

It's going to be packaged up, wrapped up however they do in the manufacturing plant. We've gone ahead and taken all that off. But we wanted to point out real quick that when you unroll it, it is going to have a bit of warp to it because it was originally sent to you like this, and it's probably been rolled up for a good amount of time. It's going to level itself out in your truck bed, or if you want to lie it on your concrete first, the sun heats up the rubber and then it just flattens to whatever surface that it's on.Now we'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to install.
